Kindergarten Information

Kindergarten students must be 5 years old on or before September 1st of the year for which you are enrolling. The school day for kindergarten runs regular hours, it is not a modified day.

To register your child for kindergarten, please visit our office to fill out our registration packet. When you come you will need to bring the following items:

Your child's state issued birth certificate
Your child's social security card
Your child's completed immunization record (blue form from doctors)
Your child's physical that was performed after August 22, 2010
Proof of address: JEA bill, Comcast bill, Rental/Lease Info

Tips to Help your Kindergarten Student at Home

Suggested Kindergarten Supply List:

• 1 backpack WITHOUT wheels
• 1 blue PLASTIC folder with prongs
• 5 boxes – 16 skinny Crayola crayons
• 1 box - 20 pack, #2 skinny pencils
• 6 glue sticks
• 1 box – Ziploc gallon bags (boys)
• 1 box – Ziploc sandwich bags (girls)
• 1 bottle – waterless hand sanitizer, at least 7 oz.
• 1 bottle – antibacterial soap, at least 7 oz.
• 1 ream – white copy paper
• 4 black Expo dry erase markers
• 1 package of baby wipes
• 1 Mead PRIMARY Journal Book, early creative story tablet with space for a picture (available at Wal-Mart)
• 1 large box – Kleenex/facial tissues
